President's WelcomeGreetings and welcome to the Linn Benton NAACP website! We appreciate you joining us and need your help in creating a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race. Our organization’s mission has been clear since our founding in 1909: we work to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination. Since our local Branch's founding in 1971, we have strived for justice and inclusive excellence by providing opportunities for members to get involved in one of our many standing committees and initiatives that directly combat all forms of racial injustices and white supremacist ideologies. As you explore our website, you will see that we are an active Branch that takes pride in leading and partnering with others in our local community whose ideals and values align with the critical work of social change. Whether you are a seasoned advocate for social change or just starting your fight for justice, the Linn Benton NAACP is for you. Join us in our collective fight for justice by volunteering your time, talents, and resources in one of our many standing committees, initiatives, or special projects, as active involvement from volunteers is the heartbeat of our organization. We look forward to being in community with you. In truth & service, Jason J. Dorsette | MONTHLY MEETINGSMonthly membership meetings are the second Thursday of each month, both In Person & via Zoom. Next meeting: Albany Regional Museum
