The Community Uplift Fund serves Black identifying members and those that members refer. 

It is to address a financial crisis with funds based on the details of the individual situation.  

Consideration would go to basic needs such as:

• Rent and utility assistance 

• Medication and healthcare support.

• Assistance with child care and/or transportation for job search/interview

• Bereavement expenses

• Car repair to help with continued employment or job search

POLICY:

Requests and referrals must come from a Linn Benton NAACP member in good standing.  Requests or referrals to this fund will be determined by consensus of the Committee and will not exceed $500.  Must be 18 years of age to apply. Support will be limited to once a year.  

PROCESS:

Members may request or refer someone for consideration by emailing: CommunityUpliftNAACP@gmail.com
