Join us at the Walnut Barn at Dr. MLK Jr. Park for our next community gathering. We will be carving pumpkins, and everyone is welcome. We will supply 25 pumpkins on a first-come, first-serve basis, as well as some tools and patterns for carving. This is an outdoor event in a covered, open barn/shelter, masks are still required.

50th Anniversary Celebration Goes Hybrid!

President Jason J. Dorsette and the Freedom Fund Committee invite you to participate in-person and/or virtually as we Remember and Celebrate accomplishments and get inspired to Persist in the justice work of our NAACP Branch.

  • All tickets include access to the Virtual Celebration and Online Auction Catalog.
  • Support level tickets include the above, plus a meal option, Commemorative 50-Year Program and Celebration Reception. (NOTE: Tickets and meal options must be completed before October 30!) 

November 6, 2021

  • Meal and Program Pick up, 2-4 pm at Corvallis and Albany locations (Reser Stadium, Corvallis and 220 SW Fifth, Albany)
  • Celebration Reception, 4-5:30 pm, with appetizers and live music by Jasmine Lumpkin, Student Experience Center Plaza OSU Campus
  • Virtual Celebration, 6:30 pm, with Keynote Speaker Dr. J. Luke Wood, Musical Entertainment James "Saxsmo" Gates, Emcee Dr. Ramycia McGhee, and Comedian "Blame it on the Comic" direct from Houston, TX.
  • Online Auction of Items, Services and Fun Experiences - Bidding opens October 30
